Vyacheslav Lepilin, Exploration Director

Mr Lepilin is currently the General Director of both the Pre-Caspian Gas Company and the GasNefteService company, and Exploration Director of Volga Gas. He has worked in the field of oil and gas for nearly 35 years.  Prior to joining the company, Mr Lepilin worked as a chief geologist for the Pre-Caspian Petroleum Company.  From 1995 to 2004 he was employed by various subsidiaries of LUKOIL, including for LUKOIL-Saratovneftedobycha as chief of their geological division and as the General Director for LUKOIL-PREM.  From 1964 to 1974 Mr Lepilin attended Saratov State University and between 1974 and 1994 Mr Lepilin acted as a chief engineer and chief geologist at the Lower-Volga Scientific Research Institute of Geology and Geophysics.  He currently sits as adviser on the Saratov region's Council on Subsoil Use.  Mr Lepilin is 61 years old. 

 
 Boris Gybanov, Deputy Director, Drilling

Gybanov has worked in the Soviet and Russian oil and gas industry for 33 years. He has worked nearly all that time in the Saratov Oblast. From 1997 onwards he was deputy General Director and Chief Engineer at LUKoil-Saratov where he was directly responsible for drilling two wells to depths in excess of 5,000m, including Chornaya Padina 1.

 Yury Markhinin, Chief Geologist

Markhinin has worked in the Soviet and Russian oil and gas industry for 44 years. He started his career in the North of Sakhalin Island where he was a geologist in the north Sakhalin drilling department of Sakhalinneft until 1972. From 1972 until joining PGK in 2006 he worked in various roles in the Saratov Oblast including as chief geologist for the Stepnovsky drilling department of Saratovneftegas.
